ANZ   "The mistake for Australian markets, having seen a soft GDP print would be to suddenly jump to the other side of the boat and expect rate cuts once again. While the data was no doubt poor, other cyclical data such as business confidence and job ads suggest some news is good. "

CBA "The risks over the next year continue to lie with a cut. And the market is pricing in a small (10%) chance that policy is eased again. But the house view is that those risks don't materialise and we have policy on hold at 1.5% over 2017."

NAB  "Near-term risks are tilted to the downside with a significant slowdown in indicators such as business conditions, employment and household spending. Further out, our forecasts continue to include a notable slowdown, which risks a rise in the unemployment rate in the absence of more policy stimulus – we still expect two more cash rate cuts by the RBA from mid next year." 

Westpac "In our view, the RBA remains overly optimistic regarding economic activity and inflation. If activity and inflation remain below their forecasts 'over time' then there is a strong chance the RBA is not done cutting rates in this cycle."
